Wednesday
i'm sooo tired today. i mean like REALLY tired. i dont think i've ever been this tired in a long time, and i didn't even really do anything this week. on monday i skated for an hour, and on tuesday i had ballet for an hour, which is what i have been doing forever, and before april 9th i was skating 5 days a week, 2-4 hours a day, plus dance, powder puff for a little while, and i ran too. now i am only doing 4-6 hours a week of skating which is what i used to do in a day or two, no powderpuff, and i haven't run much lately either, and i am exhausted. hmm, maybe if i'm more active, im less tired. it seems that way anyway. :-P well anyway, why does lyman high school and oviedo high school have SO many more hott guys than WS? ws has like 2, lol. well im too tired to write anymore... i'll write later maybe. bye!

i dont have much time to write - and what i'm writing about, i could easily write about for an hour or more... anyway, heres the really compressed version. as most of you in ws and oviedo know, brittany smith (a freshmen) and zac jarzynka (a junior) died in a car crash friday night - well actually 3 AM sunday morning. they were racing cars and zac's flipped over. it's horrible, and really sad, and i know a lot of people that were friends with one of them or both of them. personally, i had never heard of either one of them before saturday, but brittany was on the same cheerleading squad as someone i know, and zac was on the wrestling team with someone i know. well, this is what someone told me that i think is absolutely horrible - brittany was a popular girl at school, the kind of girl that not everyone liked, but wasn't mean like some of the girls. but still, because she was popular and had a well-liked boyfriend (zac), some girls called her slut, whore, bitch, etc. well now those same girls are saying stuff that they shouldn't be saying - one girl has on her profile "brittany - RIP, you were a great person, i will miss you, you were one of my best friends and i could always count on you, god bless you". i would have had no problem with this had the italicized part not been there. but it is. this girl (who will remain nameless) is using brittany's death as a way to get attention for herself and that's horrible... just horrible. ugh. well i gtg.

yay ! i got 1st in spins too!! so out of 9 placements from 9 judges in 3 events, 7 of them were "1st places" and 2 were "2nd places", which is really really good, my goal was to medal in all my events, and i did - two golds and a silver!! :-)

Saturday
im sooo happy. i competed my freeskate and compulsory yesterday. the groups were big - like 9 to 10 people. my freeskate was my first event. two people scratched from the event. i was the 2nd skater in my group and i dont normally like to watch the skaters before me, but i watched a little bit of the girl that skated before. i thought she was reallly realllly artistic, but i didnt see any of her elements (jumps or spins). i figured she had beat me. then i skated, i skated almost perfect, landed eight jumps, and messed up on one, the last jump in my program. i was tired i guess, and i just two footed the landing. but other than that my program was perfect. the girl that skated after me was really really good and i was pretty sure she would get ahead of me too. the rest of the girls did really good, except the last one fell on one thing. i was expecting third or fourth place, which is good because 1st place through 4th place get medals, and my goal was to medal in all my events. well when my results came out, i was soooo surprised!! i got 2nd place, and if i had gotten one more 1st place ordinal, i would have gotten 1st. i was soo happy with 2nd place, it was great. then about 4 hours later i had my compulsory program. one person scratched from that group but it was still huge, i think the 2nd or 3rd biggest group i have ever skated in. in warmup right before i competed, i wasn't landing my salchow, a really easy jump that i had learned like 3 years ago, i was like what the heck is this! hehe. but i did a really good program, and i had everything perfect, i was sooo happy. then when the results came out i got 1st place!! all the judges had given me first. that was great. i have one more event on sunday, then i'm done. so far i am really happy with my results!! i met lots of skaters from everywhere, from fort lauderdale to detroit to new york. this competition has been really fun, and so far it's only 1/3 of the way done!

ahh the competition is in like 36 hours... THIRTY SIX HOURS!!! and i had a horrible practice today. i have an exhibition tommorrow. then friday morning its the real thing. ahhh.... wish me luck.
