aww i luved michelle's exhibition - she was crying and i was almost! :-( she skated to fields of gold and had a gold outfit. well i promise i won't talk about olympics anymore, ur prolly very sick of that already hehe. guess what? i studied!! willingly!! i never, EVER study, but today i did. i have a 78 in science and i have to bring it up to a B - my goal is to have only A's and B's on my transcript. :-) well im gonna go. bye

Friday
michelle didn't get gold :-( she didn't get silver!! ;-( she got bronze... she fell on a triple triple combination, but i'm sure if she would have landed it she could have gotten gold or at the very least silver. sarah hughes did do really well though - she deserved the gold with her performance. irina deserved 3rd or 4th, in my mind. michelle definately didn't have her best night, techniqually or artistically but she is still the best skater there is!!!!! :-)

Thursday
guess who is *very* narrowly in first place??? michelle!! go michelle, go michelle! irina is in 2nd, sasha 3rd, and sarah 4th. michelle got unfairly low technical marks, but she got straight 5.9s for artistic!! i was sooo biting my nails (and fingers, for that matters) when she got her scores - i thought she was in 2nd place... hey, i might be in the news tonight, they were taping at my rink and they taped some of my jumps and spins and stuff. yay!! i get to play powder puff football - i'm happy. well i gotta go... skatings on! GO MICHELLE SASHA AND SARAH!!!
luv,
jillian

Wednesday
okay, venting time. what the heck is going on at the olympics in figure skating? sale and pelletier, the canadian team skated AWESOME... completely clean, every jump solid, every spin in unison, everything perfect!! they had the best artistry out of all the teams. the russian team, berezhnaya and sikharulidze, skated a mediocre program. sikharulidze had an imperfect double axle, he stepped out and two footed, i think. they're artistry wasn't nearly as good as sale and pelletier, and they had more than one imperfection. so of course, berezhnaya and sikharulidze get second to sale and pelletier, right? no! they get the gold!! which is sooo not right! then CBS sports takes a poll online to ask the public who should have won - 96% say the canadians... but the judges said the russians, 5 to 4. somethings very wrong there... these stupid olympic games are rigged and it's not fair. the athletes work their entire lives training, and their dreams are shattered by a few judges that make deals. another thing, timothy goebel skated AWESOME also, and he got 5.5's... what the heck?! 5.5s are for people that fall or stumble!! maybe i'm biased because i think he's adorable, but still!! well anyway, i think this will be the top four - Gold - Alexei Yaguden , Silver - Timothy Goebel, Bronze - Plushenko, 4th - Bronze. For the ladies I hope it will be - Gold - Michelle Kwan, Silver and Bronze - Sarah Hughes and Sasha Cohen (I love them both the same), 4th - Irina Slutskya, 5th - Maria Butryskya. We'll see how close I am! Well I am going to go. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVE! :-)
Luv,
Jillian

Tuesday
ahh much better. but if it does that again (meaning, i type a few really long blogs and then poof! they're gone) i'm switching to diary land. :-P take that, blog!! hehe. i didn't feel like going to school today, so i get to stay home and go on AOL. yesterday was a very good day. my mom got digital cable installed. now we get soo many more channels, and way better pictures. i get MTV!! yay! we also get that on screen tv guide thing that most people take for granted, but i am still amazed by. hehe. and we got road runner - i luv being able to download a whole cd in like 10 minutes, and half a movie in an hour. to add to that, i had the best skating day i've had in a long time. everything felt so right on the ice, i landed all my jumps, my programs were good. i just hope i have skating days like this on thursday (i have an exhibition of my freeskate program), march 1-3 (competition!) and the first week of april (another competition). :-) well, i have nothing else to write.
xoxo,
jillian
